Interior Design – selection of materials & finishes for kitchen, laundry & bathroom
My clients were about to embark on a major renovation involving remodelling of their kitchen / dining space as well as a bathroom and laundry makeover. They had engaged a builder and selected Green Room Interiors to help come up with a co ordinated selection of materials & finishes. Top of the wish list was to inject some colour and personality into their spaces, rather than going with an all white kitchen. So we designed the kitchen colour scheme around my client’s treasured antique copper pot and vessel collection, incorporating a navy blue 2 pack kitchen with some display shelves for her collection.
The bathroom is shared by their three boys, so it called for some moody blue tiles, gun metal tapware and timber vanity. Terrazzo style porcelain floor tiles were selected to bring in some pattern and provide a practical and serviceable choice of flooring in the bathroom and laundry.
