My client was on board right from the start with keeping hold of some of the retro elements in her home. I assisted during the major extension and renovation of almost half the home from the main living, kitchen, dining, laundry to a new bathroom. I collaborated with my kitchen designer to come up with a much more functional kitchen and open plan living, cleverly designed with my client’s lifestyle in mind.
Once the renovations were complete, we worked together in choosing pendant lights, kitchen splashback tiles, re upholstering her beloved second hand dining chairs (original from the 70’s) and co ordinating cushions & rug.
The result is a fabulously colourful, retro inspired and open space with loads of personality and quirkiness that makes it perfectly suited to this family.
